Description
Courses focus on understanding student disabilities, accessing relevant information from Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), supporting classroom management, recording student behavior data, and learning instructional strategies specific to various disability areas, all with the goal of effectively assisting the classroom teacher in supporting diverse learners.
The courses are organized in units perfect for professional development training on in-service, virtual learning and/or weather-related cancellation days. The courses have posttests at the end of each course for staff assessment of the learning. Paraeducator certification to meet Title I requirements is available at no additional cost. CESA 9 staff assist with setup and each district purchasing a license receives a free license for the district leader who oversees paraeducator learning.
